Responsibility for labelling
Manufacturers and retailers will be responsible for complying with the labelling requirements.
If you know that you will be placing textile products on the UK market from 1 January 2021, you should check the presence and accuracy of the labels.

We will be publishing guidance on how to apply for a new textile name or manufacturing tolerance from 1 January 2021, including how the applications will be assessed.
